If you could find a place where you feel at home, so much in fact that you wish it were, you have found the Argonauta Inn.
Evoking the feel of traditional beach cottage style, this property has five suites located within 150 feet of the beach. Nearness to the beach, equal distance to the village, is what these cottages have in common as they span a myriad of styles. Even the grounds are covered in a variety of unusual plants and flowers making for a relaxing and special getaway.
The Beach House
One of the largest oceanfront homes available near downtown Cannon Beach, this house will comfortably accommodate up to nine people with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A large living room with a stone fireplace, a full kitchen and spacious eating nook make the Beach House a perfect option for families. Enjoy the wonderful ocean front view from the living or dining area, the deck and private lawn. Sleeping accommodations include three queen beds, one double wall bed and one twin bed.
The Light House
The Light House gives you a choice of two suites and no matter which you choose, you’ll find yourself at peace.
Suite 503 offers a beautiful getaway for two. Spread out in the spacious room and enjoy a queen bed, fireplace, skylight and full kitchen. Or sneak out onto the sun deck, pull up a chair and breathe the fresh air while you peek at the ocean.
Suite 502 is perfect for one or two people with a queen bed, fireplace and private courtyard. It’s the perfect place to start- and finish- a good book, or maybe just catch up on quiet conversation.
The Town House
The Town House is one of Cannon Beach’s oldest residences. Built in 1906, this two story cottage will comfortably entertain five guests. The interior has been carefully remodeled in Spring 2010 to reflect the sophisticated charm only found on the Oregon Coast. The first bedroom includes a double bed, twin bed and a full bathroom. The other bedroom offers a queen bed with glass doors that open onto an oceanview deck where you can sit and watch the waves crash.
The main floor houses the living room with a stone fireplace for cozy bedtime stories or romantic evenings. You’ll also find the kitchen, dining room and 2nd bath on the main floor.
A sense of simplicity surrounds you when you stay in the Chartroom. Named after the chartrooms that existed in the ships of yesteryear, it reminds one of days long gone by. The Chartroom sleeps two to five people in one large bedroom with a queen and twin bed along with a sleeper sofa in the living room.
Relax and gaze into the fire flickering in the living room fireplace or whip up a hearty dinner in the full kitchen after a long walk down the beach. Either way, you’ll be content.
